About Folloy

Folloy is an independent free-tools-and-guides resource for creators trying to grow on the platforms they care about — without spending money they don’t have on dashboard subscriptions, “growth course” funnels, or follower-buying panels.

What we do

Two things: we publish honest guides about how the algorithms on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, Telegram, Spotify, Snapchat, and Threads actually work in 2026, and we offer a small daily allowance of free engagement (likes, follows, views, shares) for creators who want a small momentum boost. The guides are free; the tools are free.

Why we exist

Most “social media growth” sites are aimed at agencies and brands with budget. The independent creator — the person filming videos in their bedroom, building an audience around a niche, working two jobs to afford a better mic — gets ignored. The tools that exist for them are usually dashboards behind paywalls, or sketchy “buy 10,000 followers for $5” panels that get accounts banned.

Folloy was built for the people in the middle: serious about growing, careful about not breaking platform rules, and not in a position to spend a hundred dollars a month on tooling. We believe that demographic deserves an honest, free, ad-supported alternative. So we built one.

How we make money

Display advertising — specifically Google AdSense — funds everything you see here. There’s no premium tier, no upsell, no email capture funnel waiting to sell you a course. The math is simple: each visitor sees a few ads as they read a guide or watch their order process; those impressions earn a small amount; we use that to pay licensed delivery partners; you get the engagement.

Because the unit economics are tight, every free order has a per-day cap (typically 50 followers, a few hundred views) and a short queue while the order prepares. If we removed those caps, we couldn’t afford to keep the service free for anyone.

What we won’t do

  • We will never ask for your password. There is no situation in which we need it. If a service claiming “free followers” asks for your social login, that’s a phishing attempt — leave.
  • We will never sell your data. We collect the minimum needed to deliver the service (the public URL you submit, your IP for rate limiting, an anonymized fingerprint to prevent quota abuse) and we don’t pass any of it to advertisers or data brokers.
  • We will never auto-post on your behalf, follow accounts on your behalf, or DM anyone using your identity. Folloy never has access to your account; we only see public URLs.
  • We will never charge you. There is no paid tier on the roadmap.

Who runs Folloy

Folloy is a small independent project. We’re not a venture-funded startup; we’re not affiliated with TikTok, Meta, Google, X Corp, Snap Inc., Spotify AB, or Telegram FZ-LLC. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. If you want to reach us, the contact page has a form that goes directly to the maintainer.

Editorial independence

The guides published on this site reflect what we’ve learned testing each platform’s algorithms. We don’t accept payment from social platforms or growth-software vendors to recommend their products. If we ever review a third-party tool and link to it as an affiliate, the article will say so plainly at the top — and the recommendation has to stand on its own merit before any link gets added.

The roadmap

We’re slowly expanding what we cover. The platform pages currently document TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, Telegram, Spotify, Snapchat, and Threads, with new long-form guides published most weeks. Suggestions for what to cover next are welcome — drop a note via the contact page.
