How likes work in X’s algorithm
Likes on X do two things. The obvious one is social proof — a post with a lot of hearts looks more credible to anyone who stumbles across it. The less obvious one is algorithmic: X measures the ratio of likes to impressions as a quality indicator. A post that’s been seen by many people but liked by very few signals low interest; one that earns likes relative to its X views gets pushed into more recommendation surfaces.
That recommendation push is what matters most. X’s “For You” feed is driven entirely by the algorithm, and it’s where most non-follower discovery happens. Posts that perform well on the likes-to-impressions metric show up in the For You tabs of accounts that don’t follow the author — which is how posts go wider than the original following. Liked posts also appear in the author’s Likes tab on their public profile, giving them minor secondary exposure when someone visits and browses that section.
For newer accounts, a base of likes on early posts makes a profile look active and worth following when someone clicks through to evaluate it. That first impression matters — a profile with zero engagement on every post gives a visitor no reason to stick around. Likes work the same way on Instagram — free Instagram likes build the same kind of credibility signal for creators who publish across both platforms.
Why is this free?
Folloy runs on display advertising. The ads you see while browsing the site earn us a small amount through Google AdSense — that revenue pays for the engagement, which we pass on at no cost. The per-day cap exists because ad revenue per visit is small; without it, the service would burn through its budget in minutes.
Common questions
Will this get my account restricted or banned?
X’s enforcement focuses on spam accounts, coordinated inauthentic behavior, and policy violations. A moderate increase in likes on a post isn’t the kind of signal that triggers automated restrictions. Delivery is paced, not dumped all at once, and no bans have been reported from this service.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders begin within a minute or two. Full delivery is typically done within a few hours depending on order size. You don’t need to leave the tab open.
Do I need to give you my X password?
Never. We only need the public URL of your post. Any site that asks for your login credentials to deliver “free” likes is a phishing scam — don’t use it.
Do likes disappear after a while?
Occasionally a small number drop off — that’s normal with any engagement delivery and happens with organic likes too when accounts get deleted or deactivated. The vast majority stay.
Can I use this on a thread post or just tweets?
It works on any public X post — tweets, thread replies, quoted posts. Just paste the URL of the specific post you want likes on.
